Increased Frequency Of Urination During Menstrual

A first issue is not denied to anyone ... A presentation

... then is the first issue that must be able to sell the second.
Some 'time ago I read the news that Star Comics would open between March and April two new comic series. Since I always off wheels for news, I decided to give a chance to both and choose among them one to follow in the future. Below
views (poorly written) regarding the comics that will contend for the attention of my readers (and my money) in the months to follow.

Factor V

Lyrics: Sergio Boots & Luca Cerretti.
Drawings: Daniel & Matthew Statella Compass.
Cover: Clerks & Marco Morandi Maria (drawing) & Marco Dominici (color).

To tell the truth, the two, that's what intrigued me more. The reason is obviously the name of Sergio boots on the cover.
For those not familiar, Boots is probably the best known and appreciated Italian maker of special effects and a few 'lesser-known director. Now, it seems, is adept in the comics.

If you want more information about boots, here is his official page:

Now we come to comics. In
Factor V we find ourselves in a world where vampires exist, and we look a bit 'down, with the arrogance typical of supernatural be extremely powerful and very difficult to kill. The protagonist is a college professor to whom the vampires who have kidnapped the woman and did scientific research on vampirism his reason for living.
Vampires Factor V have nothing to do with the vampire classic, the garlic does not work, least of all the crosses and stakes in the heart they are just pissed off more. And this, from my point of view, it is good. At the same time, however, forget the romantic vision / figacciona which was seen in Twilight Singer and company: Factor V vampires are bloodthirsty monsters.
If I had to make a comparison with another entertainment product I would say we are from the parts of Buffy. There is also a vampire hunter, an old priest with crossbows, guns and knives who speaks with angels and wanders the world to kill pallidoni with pointy teeth. Then there is a student a little 'dark with a dark past behind which the dark shot university professor and finally a sort of powerful demon lord who lives in the soil texture and shadows. In short, a lot of irons in the fire for this first numero.Forse too, you risk indigestion.
The script runs well, jumps from one perspective to another, but the story of Sebastian, the professor lost his wife, remains in foreground. The surprise, to say the truth, there are quite a few times I was completely caught off guard. In action scenes, the cut is quite cinematic, with tight shots on the characters that change suddenly revealing a face behind the protagonist or a sudden event that reverses the situation.
For the rest there is so much action. Bites the jugular, shoot, cut off Capocci, spit on and slapped the soldier's neck (no, I admit, these last two things I made it up ...). He gave me the impression that the transcript on paper of a beautiful B-Movie, one of those films for which we must be willing to accept people who emerges from nowhere and violence end in itself, where the villain is a good dragon and a knight, where references to popular culture and many are still recognizable.
Well, perhaps one of the shortcomings of this first issue is the constant references to films, comedy and songs more or less known. The quotes are always very explicit, stuffed in the mouth to the characters and soon end up bored. Okay now make it clear that the characters move in "our" world and who live "our" culture, but many references they seemed entirely free.
For the rest, in a couple of occasions, the characters speak a bit 'too much with the voice of the narrator, telling them things that should sound obvious only to give an explanation to the reader. It 's a trick classic narrative enough, the usual beaten spiegone there to understand what is happening also to file down the bottom. Usually, unless it exceeds a certain level of vigilance, I am willing to close their eyes and this time I did it willingly.

However, my impression of Factor V is more negative than positive. The reason is obvious: not having the courage to be who wants to be.
As I said, Factor V is a comic tamarro, one of those works where you must hold your nose, close one eye and go on reading if nothing had happened. The problem is that when they should press the accelerator, you pull back suddenly. If you're going to shoot a B-Movie, then turn a B-Movie, or did you just a bad movie.
What really missing in this comic is the stroke of genius that allows characters to stand out on the page, take "From Dusk Till Dawn" by Robert Rodriguez and Take away the monologue on "fucking vampires" Seth Gecko, the gun inguinal Sex Machine and the cross made with a baseball bat and shotgun. In short, the sauce but there are no meatballs.
I hope that everything is clear, because I ended metaphors.

Pro:
- tamarro is a comic strip, at least this was my first impression.
- little talk, lots of kicks in the face.
- introduction to comic strip is written that the following numbers will be more devoted to the action (there will be trusted?)

Cons:
- is a comic tamarro ... but not completely.
- drawings, except in a couple of occasions, I was not impressed.
- beginning to tire of stories about vampires.

Valter Dark

Lyrics: Alessandro Bilotta.
Drawings: Sergio Gerasi.
Cover: Paolo Martinello.

Beyond the name uncharismatic vaguely reminiscent of a dimly lit toilet bowl, Valter Darkness seemed just a good opportunity to throw out a bit 'of money.
Once again the merit of the names of the authors. I read some things about Dylan Dog Alessandro Bilotta and I must say that I've always been satisfied. The same goes for Sergio
Gerasi I knew already covers Rourke (Star Comics comic that I've had a wedding flash followed by an equally sudden divorce) and for designs Cornelius (more or less like Rourke, but this time the marriage lasted until the sixth number ... in neither case was the fault of Gerasi).

Appreciating both the author and the designer, I certainly expected a comic quality. And indeed it was.

The idea behind the comic is good and more distant from Dylan Dog than I had imagined. Valter Blind is a psychologist of the dead, which means that the spirits of various sizes are groped for a visit to clarify those matters pending that force them to wander without rest in the world of the living.
By Dylan Dog shares his being penniless and the constant chaos that accompanies his days. Moral disorder, since it has a difficult love story behind it, and social disorder, because his special, his ability to see and talk with the dead makes it obviously an outcast.
The character will not have the best possible name, but I found it very interesting.

The story captured me from the beginning, despite an interesting development I found a little 'too simplistic a conclusion. It seemed to me that everything will be resolved in a soap bubble. In terms of boundary characters are well developed, there also has been done, in my view a good job.

course, this comic is not all roses. To begin with terrible suffering her to be a "number one" in the sense that too much part of the comic is dedicated to the presentation of character and situation.
's inevitable to happen, but then I noticed a setback too hard towards the latter part of the comic. The story speeds up and the ending is suddenly pulled away, all to be part of a courteous to the maximum of 94 pages.
I fully understand that there are technical and economic grounds, but would not have been better to leave this issue in a more full-bodied, with perhaps a dozen more pages? The cartoon would have definitely won.
I think this is more of a decision of the Star Comics, then certainly I will not blame this on Bilotta. I bet with about twenty more pages would be able to do better.

designs I found them very beautiful. The expressions of the characters are always very different and perfectly apt to their mood. Being able to point out a funny joke with an appropriate facial expression is always a result worthy of praise. I noticed a good feeling between Bilotta and Gerasi, so in addition to appreciating the style of the drawings, I liked the way they fit perfectly with the texts.
Bello.

Honorable Mention for Count Balestra, who manages to be a comic character (often involuntary) and at the same time a valuable assistant without being pedantic, ridiculous and without substance.

Pro:
- very beautiful designs.
- intriguing characters and well defined.
- with a base case, the story possibilities are truly endless.
Cons:
- suffers much the lack of space.
- the script sometimes forget to focus on story of Walter and several times you risk losing the thread.
- changing a couple of letters to the name of the head you get Dark Water (hihihihi. .. ok, I'll stop).

And now the final verdict, the champion who will be destined to become my next fuck-life paper and ink

THE WINNER IS ...

Valter Dark

Good Valter won the day on work boots. I'm sorry for Sergio, but they know how to write comics Bilotta.

PS
The meeting concluded that you just saw had to be in fact a match to three, along with a new head (always the Star Comics) named Pinkerton SA, which was to go out in early April.
There were delays and from what I read on the back of the number 2 Valter Darkness, the first issue of this new comic book due out May 16. Maybe I'll make a little thought.
As I said, the first number is not denied to anyone.
